I enjoyed it! Even though I was accustomed to running on less than three hours of deep sleep due to our condo situation, I still found myself sleeping for a solid several minutes the first night
Working in healthcare brings quite a large amount of interesting perks to the table, especially if you labor as area of the supply chain team. Every once in awhile, I get invites to attend these conferences around the state. I consistently like the opportunity, but usually I can’t attend due to conflicts with our condo life, however recently though, I was lucky enough to go to a conference about ten or fifteen minutes away from home! My employer insisted that I go, and take advantage of the free lodging provided to me and treat it as a “labor trip”. I felt it was worth showing some commitment to the corporation, so I did just that. However when I checked into the hotel room, I rapidly felt reassured that I was going to be totally cool and comfortable for the duration of the conference! My hotel room had a big king-sized bed, a massive flat screen TV, and the best heating and a/c I’d ever seen in a hotel room before. Even though it was your proper room air conditioning system, this thing worked tirelessly and without making virtually any loud noise! It was like the room would simply get warmer or colder, and I’d barely hear the a/c component running as the temperature changed. I enjoyed it! Even though I was accustomed to running on less than three hours of deep sleep due to our condo situation, I still found myself sleeping for a solid several minutes the first night. I woke up feeling almost rested for the first time in over a year! It was truly beautiful to sleep through the night. I may have slept in a bit too late though, as I wound up being late to the conference. Well, the boss couldn’t have expected that type of thing to not happen!
